Executive
Director
-
Work with the
Board and staff to market and promote the SRWA.
-
As chief spokesperson for the SRWA,
communicate a clear vision of watershed conservation to a
diverse community through public meetings, personal
relationships, and persuasive writing.
-
Provide
leadership, mentoring, and supervision to staff which currently
includes one Watershed Coordinator (technical staff) and one
Outreach Coordinator (administrative staff). Provide an
environment for quality staff performance, to include staff
development and evaluation.

Provide sound
fiscal management, including development of annual budgets,
budget plans, and fundraising plans. Implement annual
fundraising plan, identify and secure grant funding, and insure
fiscal stability of the organization.

Serve as grant
manager for a Federal 319 project to complete a comprehensive
assessment of the Soque River, coordinate the Watershed
Partnership, and develop a Watershed Protection Plan.

Identify and
promote conservation alternatives in the form of public policy
improvements, educational activities, and on-the-ground
projects.

Lead
development of core programs of the SRWA and develop program
initiatives in concert with the Board.

Maintain
timely and effective communication and relationships with the
Board and membership
