This website is, in effect
"About Us" (the SRWA). Learn about the Soque River Watershed
Association in brief from its past to its present and on to its future.
EVENTS
The SRWA sponsors and promotes a range of
activities and events to not only protect and restore the Soque River, but
to enjoin you - its members - in ways that will help you learn about the
river and its watershed as well as help you get to know your neighbors and
fellow stakeholders in the health of the Soque and its tributaries.

To work together with individuals and
organizations to protect and restore Habersham County's Soque River, its

Soque River, its watershed, the Soque River Watershed Association, as well as conservation
and preservation topics. PROJECTS
Learn about the
projects that the SRWA undertakes to fulfill its mission. By
leading and informing the community in topics such as land management; planning;
monitoring activities, and restoration, the Association strives to make
"river protection" a part of everyday life in Habersham County.
STAFF & BOARD
Currently, the staff of the
SRWA is made up of one full and one part time positions. The Board of Directors
has nine members. Learn more about the folks who do the daily work
for and provide the overall vision to the organization.
