Camping
Camping is
available in the watershed on both public (National Forest) land and at private
campgrounds.
Approximately 17,524 acres or 17% of the Soque River Watershed
rests within the Chattahoochee National Forest, providing
tremendous recreational opportunities. Almost
all of these National Forest lands are within the headwaters of
the Soque Watershed. Though some of these areas are commonly known
and easy to find, most are remote and challenging.
