Fishing
As one of the few cold water trout streams in Georgia, the Soque River offers opportunities for fishing all across the watershed.  Approximately 17,524 acres or 17% of the Soque River Watershed rests within the Chattahoochee National Forest, providing tremendous recreational opportunities.  Almost all of these National Forest lands are within the headwaters of the Soque Watershed. Though some of these areas are commonly known and easy to find, most are remote and challenging.
