There are many entities
- non-profit, governmental agencies and private businesses - that work to
maintain the health of rivers as well as protecting and preserving the lands
and habitats surrounding the rivers. Others are stakeholders in the
lands and resources found within watersheds.
This is a list of such
entities that have an online presence arranged alphabetically by the name of
the entity (in the left-hand column).
The right-hand column identifies first the nature of the entity - nonprofit,
private business, or governmental. The following entries identify the
main subject area with which the entity is concerned. On the

Subject page, you
will find a subject list providing access to these entities.
