the Soque River Sections & Tributaries

 Raper Creek (area=9.6 mi2)
Raper Creek is an upper Soque tributary that drains the northeastern portion of the Soque Watershed.  A portion of this tributary flows through the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.  Chastain Branch and Moates Branch feed Raper.  It joins with Oakey/Goldmine Creek to enter the Soque along Highway 197.  Raper drains the valley heading to Lake Burton in Rabun County.  Go find Raper Creek falls!
