Shoal
Creek (area=9.8 mi2)
Shoal Creek is an
upper Soque tributary that drains high ridgelines within the Chattahoochee-Oconee
National Forest. Nerve Branch runs along Oakey Mountain Road, while Alley
Creek enters Shoal Creek near
New Liberty Road.
Shoal Creek joins the main stem of the Soque just above Kings Bridge where Shoal Creek
Road meets Highway 197. Shoal Creek Road is one of the most scenic in
Habersham County. |
