the SRWA - Staff & Board Members
Currently, the staff of the SRWA is made up of one full and one part-time employees. The Board of Directors has twelve members. Here are the folks who do the daily work for and provide the overall vision to the organization.
Executive Director: Justin Ellis
Justin Ellis became Executive Director - for the second time - in May of 2009. Ellis served as the first Executive Director of the Association from 2002 to 2005. Since 2005, Ellis has not only bicycled across the country but has completed graduate work towards a Master’s degree in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development at the University of Georgia.Watershed Coordinator: Duncan Hughes
Duncan Hughes has served as Watershed Coordinator since 2004. He has an M.S. in Environmental Science (with an emphasis on stream ecology and water resources) from Columbus State University.
Administrative and Outreach Coordinator: Kimberly Brown
Kimberly and her husband, Ed, joined the SRWA in 2005, after they moved to Northeast Georgia from Middle Georgia. Her duties are to keep up with the growing membership, update the web page, help with press releases and do anything else that needs to be done. She resides in the Panther Creek watershed.2011 Board of Directors
