Watershed awareness

The SRWA organizes several different projects to keep our area looking pristine. The ADOPT-A-ROAD program is a former Keep Habersham Beautiful project that the SRWA took on in the summer of 2012. (The State has currently stopped promoting this program until further notification.) We also host at least two annual community clean ups, one in the spring (the Sweep the Soque clean-up) and one in the fall (the Rivers Alive Clean-Up usually in September).

The River Awareness Program also does occasional outreach to youth, school projects, and river signage and interpretive signs.
